The Blessing of Abraham pt12

What does it mean to be truly blessed? Not just in a surface-level, things-are-going-well kind of way, but blessed in the deepest, most transformative sense imaginable? Galatians 3:14 makes a staggering claim: that through Christ, we have been blessed with the same blessing God promised to Abraham. This message takes us on a journey through Genesis and into the New Testament to unpack what that actually means for us today. We discover that the blessing of Abraham was never meant to stop with one man or one nation. From the very beginning, God's heart was to gather all people, every tribe, every tongue, every nation, into His family. The gospel was not invented at the cross. It was preached in advance, announced to Abraham thousands of years earlier when God said that through him all the families of the earth would be blessed. That is not a small promise. That is the entire plan of God unfolding in a single sentence. And the breathtaking truth is that if we are in Christ, we are heirs of that same promise. We are not on the outside looking in. We have a seat at the table.
