Streams

This powerful message invites us into a deeper understanding of what it means to have the Holy Spirit flowing through our lives like streams of living water. Drawing from John 7:37-39, we discover that God never settles for 'good enough' in our spiritual lives. He always wants more—not because He's demanding, but because He's infinite and generous. The difference between a small stream flowing at 3.5 gallons per second and the Skagit River at 140,000 gallons per second illustrates God's desire for us: He wants to move us from a trickle of His presence to a mighty river of His power flowing through us. This isn't about our performance; it's about our surrender. We learn that the baptism of the Holy Spirit and our relationship with God are the foundations for experiencing this supernatural flow. The message challenges us to examine whether we're truly seeking God for Himself or just for what He can give us. Like a grandparent who delights when grandchildren climb into their lap simply to be close, God longs for that same intimacy with us. The invitation is clear: pray in tongues daily, seek God with all our hearts, and give Him permission to do whatever He wants in our lives. When we do, we position ourselves to become conduits of His healing, prophetic insight, and transformative power to everyone around us.
